Chapter 2

Pony Fantasy Ch.2: A Unicorn did it

My first feeling was pain. The second was the grass I was lying on. ,,Unghhh... What happened? All I remeber is that intense Light from Twilight's experiment, but after that?" I wondered while I tried to get up, only to notice a strange weight on me. "What the? Why do I fe- OH MY CELESTIA!"
When I took a look at myself, I found the source of my Problem: Somehow, I was wearing some kind of Armour! It was in a darker shade of red than my coat and covered me as a whole, except my fronthooves. Also, I magically received some Boots for my rearhooves, in the exact same colour as the Armour itself. And if that wasn't enough, I was also given a Sword of all things! How, and more importantly why, should I use such a thing?
After this first shock, I managed to stand up and noticed a little bag hanging around my waist. I grabbed it with my magic and looked inside. It contained a grey kind of rock and nothing else.
I put it back and took a look around to finally get a picture of where I actually was. All I could see were fields, although I could make out some kind of ocean at the horizont. Around me was a forest, and when I turned around completely, I noticed the giant Castle and the Town in front of it. ,,Well, at least now I know that I'm not alone here, and I found the perfect place to start looking for clues about what's going on."
When I entered the castle-town, I noticed some other armoured Ponies, armed with Spears. Given all other ones only wore cloth, and didn't seem to be frightened, I concluded they must be Guards or something. Since I needed every help i could get, I walked up to one of them and asked:

,,excuse me, Sir. Can you tell me where exactly I am?"

,,Sure, fellow traveler. This is Cornelia-Town, the Capital of the Southern Continent"
Cornelia? Why does this sound so familiar?, I thought.

,,one more thing: I'm searching for my... friends. A purple Unicorn, an orange Earth Pony and, uhhhh... another one. Did you happen to see them?"

,,well, I did see a Unicorn with a purple coat in the Inn, however I didn't notice an Earth Pony with such a color"
Twilight's here as well? huu booi.

,,Thank you, Sir. Can you tell me where the Inn is?"

,,Sure. It's the Building right over there! Good luck finding your friends, young one."

With this words, I went into the Inn. It was a simple, nice little hut with a counter for possible guests. I walked up to the Pegasus behind it:

,,Good day. I'm searching for my friend, a purple unicorn. The Townguard said she would be here."

,,Why, hello there, young one. You're right, the mare you're searching for is here. She is lying in one of the our beds, after she was brought here, severly injured. It seems she was ambushed by some monsters, and then found by some hunters in the woods"

,,How terrible! Is she alright now? Can I talk to her?"

,,No problem, I already treated her wounds. If she isn't sleeping now, feel free."

It wasn't hard to find Twilight, since she was the only guest at that time. I walked up to her bed.

,,What now? I told you to leave me - who are you?"

,,Hello M... Twiligt, seems you don't remember me. I was the one who bumped into you at the Library and probably the cause of this mess."

,,Oh yes, I remeber you now. Button, was it? Spike told me about you when I returned. You wanted to lend a book from the Library but it seems that has to wait, now that we're... here. Do you know this Place?"

,,Well, according to the Town-Guard, this city is called Cornelia. But that aside, can you tell me what happened to you?"

,,When I woke up, I was in some kind of forest, all alone. When I tried to find a way out, I got attacked from behind and passed out. The next thing I know is waking up here. I suppose that happened to you as well?"

,,Yes, but unlike you, I landed just before the town. I also magically had this armour with me as well as this bag -which I showed her with my magic- with some kind of rock inside."

,,So you too, huh? Seems like this happened to all of us which means that Applejack and Rainbow must be here as well!"

,,Yeah, probab... wait, "you TOO"? you don't mean-"

While I was talking, Twilight rose from her bed, pulling something out from under it: It was some kind of cloth, which she revealed as a red cape and a hat with a feather attached, as well as some boots and a bag similiar to mine. Also, she pulled up a sword like mine. She put on the equipment and showed me her bag. Unsuprisingly, it contained a rock, its shape and color exactly as mine.

,,So what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

,,Go? Where to?"

,,Searching my missing friends of course! If we both received this clothes and this rock, chances are that they did too!"

,,But where should we start? From what I saw before I got here, this country is huge! It could take weeks and months before we find them and who knows what could happen to them."

,,One more reason to go. Come on, surely somepony around here must have seen them. If their "presents" are like ours, then they should have been pretty noticable in contrast to the villagers I saw"

,,well, true enough, but - hey! Don't leave me here!"

And with that, I ran outside after Twilight, right into the unknown

Too long delay is too long and forgetful Author is forgetful D: !
Sorry everypony, but finally I got to update my Story! I dont even know how I forgot my own work but somehow, it came back to me. Also since my summer vacations are starting today (as of this comment's date) I really hope to be quicker the next few weeks! for real this time! Until then: peace out *cue FF Victory theme*

eeyup, exactly like that. I thought this would be the most appropriate solution, given their Personalities(except maybe Mash's, but we'll, if ever, come to that later). I was actually suspecting someone would figure it out. All I have to do now is to find some Plot-strings to "assemble the Party" in the right way (since obviously, things will be different as they are in the game, like the Magic System for example), but I srly cant come up with an Idea who will come first (RD or AJ) or where to find them. Especially Rainbow, since she Probably wouldn't stay long at one Place. So if Someone got Ideas than I'm more than happy to incorporate them!
