Next Gen- The time has come

Ever since the Elements of Harmony were placed back to there original home, trouble has been brewing over all of Equestria. Ponies have gone missing, many have gone insane.
It is now 15 years later and now the state of Equestria is such a wreck that most ponies barely leave there homes. Suddenly the attackers appeared and the children of the bearers of the Elements of Harmony must retrieve them before their country gets wiped out completely.

Sounds cool. I have a fairly similar concept I've been cooking up. It doesn't involve the kids of the mane 6, but it does involve a future generation to try and save Equestria that have a slight connection to the mane six. Still working out the details, but it's going to be awesome and have a touch of anime style. Hope your story goes well too!
