A well-written story -- no, fable, and with an ending that doesn't leave you hanging.
Holy crap that was awful and good and just plain awfully good. Goes to show that you can't make a deal with the devil. I'm actually really, really glad that you decided to go brief with the story and not show anything of what was going on.

Yeah... damned if you do, damned if you don't, in this case. You'll get the blind "mature rated = shit" votes. You'll get the blind "rape = shit" votes. And then you'll get the folks who wanted a rapefic who feel lied to, or who at least don't provide counter upvotes to go against the downvotes.
And, finally, a few folks like me, who upvote for the sake of "goddamn, that's evil."
And somehow, I find myself thinking that rope's long enough (or enchanted so that) there's not a building in the Crystal Empire tall enough for him to hang himself from with it.

Nah, this Sombra is far too ruthlessly practical to indulge the reader's thirst for poetic justice. By now the would-be hero and martyr of the revolution has so thoroughly discredited himself in the eyes of his own that the only thing he's going to inspire in anypony is a vague distrust of dissidents in general. Job done, time for him to exit the stage as quietly as possible. Getting him to do the honors himself is just another safeguard against martyrdom.

Oh, I wasn't thinking it was poetic justice of any sort. I was thinking it was a simple matter of further torturing him by giving him just a little too *much* rope to hang himself with, denying him even that mercy, or at least making it as painful a hanging as possible by forcing slow strangulation rather than snapping the neck.
