hahaha! Well I feel like that Rainbow, as element of loyalty, would always want somebody to be loyal to her therefore she feels that Soarin not being able to be with her that often is harming the whole loyalty thing so she left.

Not really, cause people make mistakes before they find the true meaning of loyalty, and this is her breaking point. Plus people/ponies are hypocrites and that's life. But things would be later explained in future one-shots
