Celestia was encouraging the childishness because it was a reminder of better happier times, that allowed Chrysalis to remember and embrac them

WTF AM I READING

Whoa...can you take me to creepy town... :pinkiecrazy:

For the unsettling strangeness that it is by design, that was a good read.

6907805 Oh I'm well aware of that, but it still unsettled me in the original.

6908032 thanks

It's been a few weeks since Chrysalis an Luna united in their attempts to embaress Celestia, and the three of them are happy. They laugh, they play, they sleep, they eat, and never is there a depressing moment. But underneath it all, the queen can't help but feel soemthings off. Like she's forgetting something. It must not be important, though. Otherwise Tia would remind her.

I don't know if these were done or purpose, or something of that sort, but in the event they're not, here are some corrections.

That is all. Equestria is ours.

6910075 feel like a nub now, fixed.

Meh.

Here I was hoping Chrysalis was actually Celestia and Luna's mother suffering from senile dementia. That would have been interesting.

Unbirthing from Reykan.

I was not expecting that.

6921699 you haven't read "A Father's Love", have you? This isn't the first time I've used it XD

A bit extreme, as therapy goes, but... whatever works? :rainbowlaugh:

Well that... that was something I read, to be sure. Took the whole childishness thing to a new extreme. Very extreme. A WTF am I reading extreme. Is this someone's fetish? It must be. But is it meant to be, that's the question. Whatever you can say about the subject matter, though, there were quite a few typos and some weird paragraph spacing, so it suffers a bit from that. But really, going back inside? Or not really back inside, since that's not where she came from in the first place... And why does Luna get the same treatment?

7108073 As I said in that review so long ago, the amount of childishness in your original story actually scared me, like it could be the setting for something a lot darker. I could have stopped at the last potion, granted, but I was already pretty weird, so I just took that extra step.

Both cool and disturbing, actually quite disturbing, but still interesting

Wow, I really enjoyed this story. It'd be nice to read others like it.

To be honest, this story reminds me of some of the stories done by Zamairiac, like The Royal Breakup Chronicles and Absolute Power where the 'darkness' of the fic is relative. For example, in this story, Celestia slowly regressed Chrysalis and Luna in order to become their mother and protect them. One one hand, she forcibly turned her own sister and Chrysalis into foals, erasing their minds entirely in the process because she felt she had to protect them. On the other hand, everything was done out of love without a drop of malice. She clearly truly believes this is the best way to protect them and is prepared to do everything she can to see it so. Not only that, but while her solution to the problem might be a tad extreme, the threat against Chrysalis and Luna is very real, especially with Celestia's own guards working against her.

Just as in many of Zamairiac's story, this story leaves you wondering since it doesn't go the easy route with having clearly defined villains and heroes and builds antagonists in a way that you can't fault them entirely for how they act. In stories like this, the road to hell really is paved with good intentions.

Definitely liking this story. =)
