Zapp v Matter-Horn: Dawn of Friendship

Chapter 8 Encounter Part 1

Zapp was on a top of a roof spying on a building with reported gang activity going on inside.

"Mistress Dash are you sure about this, you haven't fought in years." Whooves said though her ear piece

"These gangs have been terrorizing Ponyville for months, I think its time to teach them to be feared." Dash said

As she was preparing for the battle ahead she felt that she was being watch, but ignored it

"It's time." Dash said

She jumped from the roof and crashed through the glass on the other building and one of the gang members looked up,but it was to late Zapp landed on him knocking him unconscious immediately, causing the attention of everypony in the warehouse.

"Alright we can do this the easy way or the hard way." Dash said through her voice modifier in her cowl

The gang members all pointed their weapons at her

"Alright the hard way it is." she said

Just then she though a smoke bomb on the floor causing the entire place to be covered in smoke

"Where she go!" one gang member asked

"I can't see anything!" another said as they were both taken out by her

"There she is!" the gang leader said

They opened fire at her as she was taken them out one by one.

"Is that the best you got." Dash said as she threw one of the bad guys against the wall breaking it as he hit it

"Retreat!" the gang leader said

They all scattered as she ignored them she chased the leader, until he tripped and she tackled him onto the ground. Just then the police arrived

"Come on." one unicorn officer said

I'm coming hold your horn." the Pegasus officer said

As they came upon the scene they shine their flashlights over to where Zapp has the gang leader pin. They watched helplessly as she used one of her Zapparang and stabbed it into his leg as he screamed in pain. Both of the officers raised their tasers up at her

"Hold it right there you just crippled that pony." the unicorn officer said

Zapp responded still in her disguised voice "He's young he'll walk again, but you'll stay scared won't you punk."

The gang leader said nothing as Zapp got up and before the officers can say anything she flew away as fast as sound

"What was that." one officer said

"That rookie was a savior." the Pegasus officer said

As more police arrived taken the wounded stallions to jail as Zapp watched hidden in the shadows. She stayed their until they have gone and came out of hiding

"I'm not young as I used to be." Dash said to herself

"That was quite a show." a voice out of know where came

"Who there?" dash asked as she looked around as she was in her battle stance

"Who aid that?"

"I did." the voice said again

Dash looked up and saw somepony she was not expected to see........

MATTER-HORN

I'm sorry I'm not that good at writing action scenes, but I promise when they finally face off I will do the best I can in writing an action scene

So any adivce on how to do it will be accepted

Hey there. Thanks greatly for getting the next chapter up. I really appreciate you going to the effort. As usual, splendid job on the exchanges, emotional content and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I can't think of much for an action scene, but I have thought of SOME stuff:

1. Matter Horn trying to calmly reason with Zapp before the fight actually starts, but Zapp makes a comment about how Matter-Horn is too powerful for her to trust and she prepared a particularly powerful arsenal just in case the two of them ever actually met.

2. Zapp trying to hit Matter-Horn with a lightning strike [super-charged by some sort of gadget] and a tornado [boosted by a speed-enhancing gadget], as well as some strength-enhancing horseshoes [since she isn't as young as she used to be, she has to be more high-tech, ESPECIALLY against such a powerful opponent]), before pelting Matter-Horn with a super-super-glue bomb

and 3. Matter-Horn easily breaking free of the glue before using her own powers to stop Zapp's tornado before anybody gets hurt and then comments "I've read a lot about you before coming here. Given your background and profile, I expected you to be paranoid enough to try to strike at me first, even if I tried reason first. Still, I had to at least try reason. I don't particularly mind you trying to attack ME, but I would prefer you didn't use attacks that pose a sizeable risk to innocent sentients." before opening a jumbo-sized super-powered can of kick keister on Zapp and adding "I'm begging you. For your own safety, PLEASE stay down."

But, if you don't like the ideas, well, I completely understand and I still look forward to more of this as soon as time and inspiration will allow.
