Finally I've been waiting for this one! Sunset Shimmer is the best!

The amount of emotions in this are fluid and real-like which was well built up. I've got to say this is probably the best one I've read out of the Steam Collection. You've outdone yourself, my friend. Keep it up. :pinkiehappy:

6823391 Thanks for the favorite!

6823402 There's only one story to go right now.

6823407 Thanks so much for reading! :pinkiehappy:

Man, this story was great as it was far more emotional than the others. Hope to see the last installment of the series, since it will be Twilight's turn.

6823545 Thanks for that. :twilightsheepish: And thanks for the fave, too!

6823551 I finished this and then listened to the John Cena theme. I don't know why.

This... was amazing! I've waited for so long for Sunset to have her spot in the Steam Collection. I guess you can say I've been... Waiting for Sunset.

I know it was a bad pun, but it was so worth it.

6823599 I will totally allow it. Thanks so much for reading!

6823608 Thanks so much for writing it!

Gezz, he'll need a M tag for sure next time 0.0

Great job, was happy to help

Totally worth the read! [Insert Sunset Shimmer emoticon here]

It has been a very long wait...but it was so worth it.

I'm absolutely speechless, this is by far the best of the steam collection by a freaking mile! :pinkiehappy:

6823696 Thank you so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. And thanks for the favorites! :raritystarry:

6823698 Yeah, you're right. We totally need a Sunset emoticon! :twilightangry2:

But seriously, thank you so much for reading and favoriting. It means a lot. :scootangel:

Finally got it up, very nice! Sunset is second best Pony! Thanks for letting me Beta!

6823708
6823716 Thank you both so much, for reading and for the faves. I couldn't have done it without readers (and in some cases, proofreaders) like you. Sincerely, thank you.

This is fantastic. Good job and I look forward to everything else you have planned in the future.

Wow, this is really good and all, but I think that you'll need an M tag. I wouldn't be able to read it if that were the case, but I think it's needed. :twilightoops:

6823784 I thought so too, at first. In fact, I was afraid it would get rejected just for that reason. :twilightoops: But I tried not to go into graphic detail about it. I guess it was just barely enough. :applejackunsure:

But thanks for reading.

6823806
Okay, just making sure. Just to be careful. I won't stop reading though, unless one becomes so much that an M tag is needed.

You're welcome.

6823806 sunset and I have a lot In common with a bad past can I read this series even though I'm a girl ?

6823845 I tried to make the 2nd person character as ambiguous as possible in each story, so that "your" gender could change depending on the reader. So, I'm sure you could enjoy them, if you wanted to read them all.

6823852 awesome I'll definitely give this series a try thanks! :pinkiehappy:

6823899 Thanks for reading! :pinkiehappy:

Ever since the incident at the Fall Formal, Sunset Shimmer always spends her time alone. She's scared and in pain, and never talks to anyone.

Understandable, things didn't exactly go well for her. I'd be depressed too. So this is a fic about her overcoming her depression? realizing there is a light beyond the darkness with the help of her friends, and eventually, under her own power, she rises from the ash—

You understand what she's going through, though, and hope she'll open up to you over time.

Oh.

Another great story in the Steam Collection! :pinkiehappy:
Wait a minute!

Didn't they break the pinkie promise now? :pinkiegasp:

Well… the ending was lewder than I expected.
Is it me or the stories became more explicit with each new iteration of the collection? Anyway, great story.:pinkiehappy:

6824073 Nope, it's definitely a staple of the Steam Collection. :raritywink: Thanks for reading!

Favorite by far can't wait for Twilight's also congrats on yet another feature! :pinkiehappy:

6824041 Well, "you" promised her you wouldn't make a move on her. But technically, she's the one making all the moves. So, not really.

Maybe . . . .

I don't think . . . .

:applejackunsure:

6824118 Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! And thanks for the fave! :yay:

Let the Sunset flow through you. You depicted her very well here.

“Well . . . like I said, I understand how you feel.”

“I doubt it,” Sunset replies a bit bitterly as she looks away. “You could never know what it’s like to have the whole world hate you for turning into a monster.”

You sigh again, heavier and guiltier. “Well, I was never a monster. I was never a bully, either. I never stole lunch money, or beat anyone up, or teased anyone. But I’ve seen how damaging bullying can be. When I was a little kid, I’d see kids bullying the weaker, smaller kids in school, and they only seemed like they do it to make themselves feel better. So I get what it means to want to do anything to feel good. To feel important. To feel . . . well . . . .”

He... he really doesn't. It would have been better if he had been a bully--it still doesn't match up to what Sunset is experiencing, but at least he'd actually know what she's feeling. As it is, he can only imagine it. "I understand how you feel" is one of the absolute worst things you can say to someone who's in any stage of grieving. This just comes off as pretentious. It's like someone who's never intentionally hurt someone telling a stranger who just killed someone that they understand how they feel, because they watched a guy punch another guy in the face before.
"I've never bullied anyone, turned into a raging she-demon, tried to invade a nation, destroyed friendships, terrified an entire school into obeying me, or mind-washed anyone into my living zombie slaves, but I have seen people be bullied." That's what he's saying.

This is mitigated by his continued sense of guilt over the course of the story that suggests that he may have lied over not being a bully. Unfortunately, you never actually say that he was a bully--which makes him putting himself down and his "I'm not worthy" stuff come of as whiny, rather than genuine angst. Considering that she did a LOT to prove herself not the type of character that typically receives that comment (I might see it post Rainbow Rocks, but now?), it feels very forced. Even if he was a bully himself, it's still unwarranted... unless he did something really awful, like accidentally drive a kid to suicide, which would explain his current, sympathetic attitude, self-put downs, low self-esteem, and general feeling of a "redemption" that is in the character.

I think I’m falling in love . . . .

After one-and-a-half conversations?

We just met.

And he says this after deciding that he well and truly fell in love? Aside from the issue with Sunset only knowing him for such a short amount of time, he's known her for the same length. And despite what he said, there hasn't been any real demonstration of them having much in common with each other.

6824161 I wanted to make "you" the bully in this story, but I was told that would be too much like fleshing out the character and making it all third-person. This is a second-person fic, so I worked with what I had at the time.

I also wanted to point out that his feelings are somewhat inappropriate, seeing as how they only just met. That's where some of his self-admonishment goes--he feels selfish for wanting Sunset, when he also wants to help her and make her happy.

I understand your problems with the fic, but I'm glad you took the time to read and add it. Thanks.

I'll be honest. I skipped the steam-part. BUT the story was very, very good, even without the main part, the depth and emotion was exceptional.

Great job, Lightning. Great job. A like from me.

6824191 Thanks for reading!

This story was such a tease towards the end!:rainbowlaugh: Just when things was heating up! I love the attention to detail in terms of the expression of "You" and Sunset Shimmer. Absolutely flawless! I felt myself mesmerized by the cleverly written dialogue and the events leading up to the climax (No pun intended :raritywink: ) I'm glad that I can add another satisfying read to my list! Great work!

6824221 Thanks so much for that! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :pinkiehappy:

*Sees release* Start stopwatch for feat- *Featured* Seems I was to late...

6824239 LoL, yeah, this was probably my fastest Feature yet. :twilightsheepish:

Seconds after she speaks, a car drives by the front of the school, and a pink-haired girl sticks her head out of the passenger side window, screaming as she passes by, “FOOOOREEEEEEEEEVVVEEEEEEEEEEERRRRR!!”

Sunset, you could've rode home with Pinkie.:pinkiehappy:

This was brilliant Well done.

6824323 Thanks for reading! :pinkiehappy:

The wait was definitely worth it. I really need to take some notes on how to write like this.

You know, you're just further cementing yourself as my favorite author on FiMFiction. Since I don't read much outside of this website, you're also easily in my top three favorite writers of all time. People might accuse me of ass-kissing, but your ass is worthy.

6824371 I sincerely appreciate it. I'm honored and proud to be one of your favorite authors, not just here, but of all time. I can't thank you enough for thinking so highly of me and my stories. I appreciate it.

6824323 And thank you both for the faves! :raritystarry:

Possibly the most risque entry to this series.

Glorious. :trollestia:

6824428 Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for the fave! :scootangel:

This was the closest you ever got to sex in this series without it being sex. This is definitely the best one so far, and is going in my favorites list AND my special folder...

Because this story took me THERE... (congratulations for being the first one in months to take me there).

6824612 Ehehe . . . :twilightblush: I'm flattered. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for favoriting, and thanks for reading! :pinkiehappy:

6823934 I hope you gave the story a chance, and didn't abandon it from the summary.
