Chapter 14: Too much to think about

It was a long fly home with everything about Dash and Rarity running through my head.
I finally walk inside….that’s when I’m greeted by a stunning white pony.
“Hey Rarity” I said softly
“Hey Shadow… what’s wrong”
“Nothing’s wrong I just need to be alone for now… I’ve got too much to deal with for now” I said walking up stairs to go to bed
“Maybe I could help with your endeavours” Rarity said following me to my room
“I’m sorry but that would be impossible”
“Why… Shadow… Don’t tell me you’re having second thoughts… about us” Rarity said trying not to cry
“No of course not… I… I… I just can’t explain”
“You can tell me anything Shadow… please tell me”
“I’m sorry Rarity but I just can’t” I said turning away from her
“But… But… Shadow”
“Rarity there’s nothing you can do so please just leave”
“Shadow” Said Rarity releasing a few tears
“Just go” I yell at Rarity
“Just go” I said a bit softer
“Please Just go” I said beginning to cry
“Shadow” Cried Rarity
I sit there at the end of my bed trying to figure this all out. If I should break up with Rarity and go out with Dash or Stay with Rarity and ditch Dash.
I sit there for another thirty minutes thinking about what to do…
‘Maybe I could leave PonyVille for a couple of days…spend some time to get this through my head’ I think to myself
I pack a few things for a couple of days and begin to head out to find somewhere to stay.
As I was leaving Rarity stops me dead in my tracks
“Shadow…what are you doing” she cried
“I’m gonna leaving PonyVille for a couple days” I said softly
“Why… What’s happened that’s so bad that you need to leave?”
“Nothing you need to worry about”
“Yes I do… cause your leaving and I don’t know what for”
“I’ll be back in a couple of days from now”
“But what about me… what about the competition… what about the Gala”
“I’ll be back before the Gala don’t worry… but maybe not before the competition… I’m not sure yet”
“Shadow… Please just stay… we can work this out together”
“I’m sorry I just… just can’t… I’m sorry” I said about to walk of
“Shadow if you leave… don’t bother coming back to see me again” Rarity cried, “please just tell me what’s going on”
“Fine….Could we talk inside” I said giving up the fight
“Sure”
We walk inside and Rarity turns to me
“Shadow what’s wrong”
“I’ve got something to said that you might not like”
“Just tell me Shadow” She said while crying
“Well…..Um…. Today during practice with Dash um…. Well after I took Sweetie belle home” I said nervously
“Well she kinda” I said looking into her eyes, “kissed me…and I’m not sure how I feel about it”
“Shadow….In other words…you’re having second thoughts about us”
“Kind of”
“Well Shadow I think me and you….should…have sometime away…from each other” said Rarity softly
“I understand”
“I’m going to go now… I’ll see you around”
“I’m so sorry Rarity”
“Don’t be Shadow… It’s my fault for falling in love with a human” Cried Rarity as she leaves out the front door
“Fuuuccckkkk” I screamed, “Why does this have to happen to me….I never did anything wrong why me”
I pick my bag up and begin to leave PonyVille
I walk for a couple of hours until I reach a hotel out of PonyVille
“Hello how may we help you today?” said the receptionist
“I was wondering if I could stay for a couple of days”
“Sure…How long exactly”
It’s been a couple of days since Left PonyVille… and I still can’t figure out how I feel about Dash and Rarity until I hear a loud to a loud bang on the door
“Ha… hold on I’m coming”
I open the door to a white pony wearing a black tuxedo
“Al… what are you doing here?”
“I heard you were staying here so I thought I’ll come said hello”
“How did you find out I was here?”
“I own this Hotel and I saw your name on the register so I came up” said Al with a big smile “So where’s that beautiful girlfriend of yours”
“Agh well… She’s in PonyVille it’s just me here”
“Why would you come here by yourself?” asked Al curiously
“Well I’m kind of a predicament”
“What kind of predicament”
“Well Rarity and I were going out and now another filly named Rainbow Dash”
“Agh Rainbow Dash the fastest Pony in all PonyVille” Al butted in
“Well Dash kind of kissed me and I don’t know how I feel about her”
“Well Shadow you have defiantly got yourself in a sticky situation…but I think old Al will be able to help you”
“And how will that be”
“I’m going to help you decide”
“How” I said questionably
“Well why do you like Rarity?”
“Well…She funny…Elegant…Cute…She loves to have fun… She helped me around PonyVille numerous times”
“And why do you like Dash?”
“Well… I dunno why… just hit me when she kissed me”
“Well I think you should stick with Rarity”
“Why?”
“For the reasons you said”
“But what about Dash”
“Something tells me that someone will sweep Dash away… I think it was some guy called Twix… I’m not sure”
“So how am I going to fix things with Rarity then?”
“I dunno that’s for you to figure out by yourself…All I’ve gotta said I hope you both get back together if not you have Dash” Said Al before heading for the front door, “Well I see you around Shadow…Good Luck”
“Thanks Cya”
“Bye”
‘Now how do I get Rarity to take me back’ I think to myself
I sit down and go over Ideas in my head until it finally hits me.
‘Oh god it’s the Gala today...I better get going’
I then quickly jump out of the chair grab my jacket and race to the Gala
“I’m not sure…maybe three days”
“Alright your room is no.12 on the second floor”
“Thanks”
I head up to the second floor… open the door… and dump my bags down near the door and head to bed to sleep

I think this was supposed to be up where he just got to the hotel, not after he's leaving.
