Moon Dancer’s future is looking bright. She has two major things going for her, intelligence and rediscovered friends with whom she’s making up for lost time. A chance run-in with the portal mirror traps her in the human world. With Sunset Shimmer as her guide, Moon Dancer will discover just what her place is in the multiverse. Perhaps she will also save two universes that are on the verge of ripping apart at the seams, if she could figure out just what Sunset Shimmer is hiding from everyone.

This is a fun start! I don't often enjoy first person perspective, but this is well written!

This story is like...the opposite of one of mine. In mine, human Twilight and human Moon Dancer end up Equestria. (Was made before the Friendship Games) Even so, this is interesting. I'll give ya a like.

Thank you! I found the story you mentioned and added it to my read later list so I'll give it a read soon.

I'm getting through this chapter, and I'm thinking, "Man, Twilight was such a bad friend to the Canterlot Five that even her COUNTERPART got in the action by inadvertently destroying Twinkleshine's life".

She lowered her eyes until they were level with Twinkleshine’s horn, and blinked at the impossibility she saw there. Little vein like fissures underneath the leather radiated from the tip of the horn, hugged against the spiral like spider webbing, before disappearing into her forehead.

I think you're looking for something else, unless you mean to say unicorn horns are made of leather. A lot of fan headcanon is that they're ivory horns.

Poor Moon Dancer, life sure seems to dump on her. Given these are her memoirs, I'll have to assume that in the future knowledge of the human world is pretty common, else she'd basically be spilling a state secret to the masses via her book. From the sounds of the beginning of the chapter, SciTwi really screwed up bad with her magical doohickety.

EDIT: Also, you missed the opportunity for a perfect set-up for a joke near the end when Moon Dancer recalls Sunset Shimmer. She could have mentioned something like "This was back when my fur colour was white with a fully red mane instead of the more beige colour I have now"

Well that was pretty nifty. I don't see it happen very often in fics where ponies get changed into humans, but it's always humourous when a pony who's used to having mammaries on the lower end of their body is freaked out to realise they've been moved up.

Looks like Moon Dancer fell to the de-aging 'curse'. Hopefully Sunset has a good internet connection, or that Canterlot doesn't need very strong ID to get a library card, because otherwise Moon Dancer might drive Sunset into the poorhouse with her need for books. Especially since your version of the FIMverse appears to be one where electricity is a totally foreign concept.

Well, this is a story I'll be bookmarking.

I'm gonna respond to all three of your review posts if you don't mind:

Especially since your version of the FIMverse appears to be one where electricity is a totally foreign concept.

Hrm. I really didn't consider that it might come across that way. My headcanon is that Equestria uses a mixture of arcane and electrical lighting, and fluorescent/mercury vapor tubes are unheard of. You've given me some ideas though for later chapters. Moon Dancer still has tons more to explore.

I think you're looking for something else, unless you mean to say unicorn horns are made of leather. A lot of fan headcanon is that they're ivory horns.

I was thinking something between velvet and leather, almost akin the bridge of a cat's nose. My thought on this is that ivory would be white and a solid mass, whereas a skin of some type could cover something more significant internally.

Ahhh. I'd reply with what I'm planning but it's a secret. :raritywink:

Well I did put in the "You're not a pony" joke, but yeah I completely missed that opportunity.

Thanks for the reviews! Sorry for the late reply.
