707850 The funny thing is, I saw that rule posted when I was putting the finishing touches on it this morning. I said a couple profanities to myself, and decided to take a more detailed look. I think the rule only applies if you reference stuff that wouldn't necessarily be referenced in the MLP universe. The original version of the prologue chapter had Dashie claiming she was going to make Equestria Daily in 10 seconds flat. After I saw the new rule, I altered it to say that she believed she could be one of the (possibly many) writers of the series. Even then, I was hesitant to try to submit, but as you can see, I took the risk. Seems it does pass. Hopefully this one passing won't cause issue with someone who wants to be picky that theirs got denyed but not mine.

I wasn't quite expecting the reactions of the reviewers, and the shippness of RD's fanfic was unexpected to say the least...of course, that's why I lol'ed so hard.

708476 Fair enough. I even commented to an earlier review that I'd have been truly surprised if it hadn't been taken before, because it's a juicy topic to explore. I honestly didn't think to look before I was typing up Luna's review and by then, I was just kind of "meh, oh well." I wrote this one as a break from my more serious stories.

709054 Fun Fact: I occasionally will help friends proofread their fics. I don't make comments on the story or plot, because there are many people out there that don't have the qualms I do of being honest about someone's work being bad. One guy, a friend of a friend, asked me to read his fic. I told him that I'd help fix the numerous spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors that I had seen in the first few paragraphs that I had gotten to check. He insisted I comment on the plot. That conversation between Daring and Dashie is an homage of sorts to one of the bits in that fic! ...I ended up having to ask my friend to tell him that I was too busy to go over plot in-depth, because I was too scared of hurting his feelings.
709078 Fun Fact: That line is another homage! There's a fairly popular fic on this site that also got posted on Equestria Daily, and it was really well-written and totally deserving of its acclaim. But the fic ended with that line, and it made me sad. I hope no one gets mad at me for that.

That version of the ending actually took me the longest, mostly because the other two are incredibly cliche for those characters. I had to actually get creative for Twilight! But I think she's proven to be insane enough in certain situations to do something like that.
