Interesting so far (I still see rosedust being abit antagonistic, memories of the Draconequues still fresh in her mind.) also macintosh reaction the the bushwoolies is believable (Sense he did take the smarty pants doll.)

I really hate how everyone thinks that a character (OC or not) can't be stronger/better/smarter etc than the mane 6. Those girls have their own flaws too, which is why they are so easy to relate to. If Fluttershy had been able to stare down the freakin KING OF ALL DRAGONS then it wouldn't have been very believable. He was easy going about the whole thing so I don't see the big deal.

I know he's supposed to be grown-up G1 Spike, but apart from the name he doesn't really have much in common with him. Spykoran, king of the dragons, is pretty much your creation.
Perhaps I should clarify my problem: There are only a very handful of scenes in which Fluttershy uses the Stare (3 I believe), in contrast to a truckload of problems she could've solved with it. Apart form two episodes, the Stare is treated as something that doesn't exist, like the Pinkie Sense. It was included here, in this story, but only to show off how big and powerful and overwhelming Spykoran is. Some people like that, some don't. I'm one of the latter.

The real FCC can find a signal source almost instantly using GPS-like techniques. This FCC has to operated under 'no BVR combat' hasbroverse rules, but I'd still expect there to be a welcome party of either test engineers or GI Joes when Magen goes home.
Beyond that I expect the gateway between the two worlds to be easily accessable via a 'Go Go Joe Absurdity' tower crane or a Go Go Joe Absurdity cargo blimp.
