I really liked it, but there's one big thing. I was completely confused. Did Octavia vanish? Commit suicide? And why didn't we know about Pinkie's party beforehand? You need more background info. Maybe Pinkie inviting Vinyl, maybe Octavia saying something about dying or something.. I don't know. All I know is that you don't have nearly enough background info and that made it very confusing. I also can't imagine Vinyl acting like that, frankly. I'd imagine Tavi doing that more.
But of course, constructive criticism goes hand in hand with praise. You have a very nice style of writing, it's very strong despite being so unclear. You didn't have many errors, and the last part where she was singing was very touching. Brava~
