Ahh the true burden of Alicornhood... the KNOWING. Knowing ponies could fail themselves, each other and Equestria. Knowing that you can prepare for everything but still not prepare for everything.

This makes me wonder if the show will cover this at all. I understand it's a kid show so it probably won't, but there are times you got to wonder if Twilight is developing PTSD from everything she's been through. Ah well all that matters was you wrote a good oneshot and made me think.

I'm writing a fic about just what that final future was...and Twilight is going to be horrified and devastated. :pinkiecrazy:

Good fic. I really liked how Twilight was thinking about how all those things COULD still happen, even without Starlight's interference.

has been been remarkably unhelpful

repetition

Good story.

Ah, thank you for pointing that out.

Combine that with Twilight's neurotic nature and you've got a recipe for potential disaster.

I admit, I do like the idea of Twilight steadily becoming more traumatized by the things she's going through.

I reviewed this story!

My review can be found here.

Luna came back - and was reformed.
Discord came back - and was reformed.
Starlight came back - and was reformed. (Maybe. Probably?)
Trixie cam back - and was reformed. (Maybe...)

Chrysalis... was blasted away. Whelp.
Flim and Flam... yeah...
Equestria has a tendency to convert it's villains to the good cause. It's a good decision, too - weakening the enemy forces and strengthening your own. But yes - things still can go downhill. Probably in more ways a sane mind would be able to grasp without shattering to pieces. But I don't think they'll ever explore that road with Twi.
... and I'm not sure if that's really a bad thing, too. I like her. A lot. And I don't usually want to see those I like suffer.

Anyway, great piece, made me think a lot about possibilities and redemption-policies.

I've produced an audiobook of this title. I'm horrible at audio work, so nothing fancy going on here. Just a guy reading a story he found online to himself.

Oh, wow! I've never had someone like my work enough to want to put the time in to upload a reading of it in audio format! Thanks, you did great!
