In the human world, Daring Do has acquired far too much media attention to maintain her secret life. Instead, she devotes herself to solving Earth's great mysteries. However, the planet's greatest mysteries are out of her reach. They are kept by a group of high school students who have seen things that most humans would never dream of. History meets magic in this Equestria Girls story. Inspiration drawn from watching too many paranormal television shows.

Oh, boy.

None of them have the foggiest idea as to what they're about to walk into, do they?

And Daring Do in the same location as her biggest fan.

This'll be fun.

For Rainbow.

For Daring?

Not so much, I think.

On another note, wonder if the girls saw this episode of the show?

If so, I hope they'll be on their guard against snoopy investigators.

It's before the episode airs so both groups should be about equally clueless. Thanks for the read!

7138632 Oh, okay. Thanks for telling me that. I appreciate it.

And you're very welcome. Daring is my third-fave pony (or Equestria Girl), right behind AJ and Rainbow, respectively.

So I love reading about anything that she gets into.

Whether she be pony, or pastel-colored human.

This is intresting. Been forever and I've been wanting for a fic about the outside world poke around the magic of Canterlot High. My old wish is for undercover S.M.I.L.E. agents posing as students, but this Daring Do in your story is a very strong candidate! I like the hard fact and fast pace this fic is boasting, keep riding!

Woah, and update! And a nice lead to the storm in the next installments. I like it that you agree that some degree of magic must have exist in EqG World before, altough it wont be as big as they are in Equestria.

Thanks. I needed a compromise because I like magic but I didn't really wan't intrusions from Equestria.

Understandable. Thats what I thought as well. I mean, the whole CHS and CPA seems to be rather cool with the Friendship Games fiasco, which kinda makes me thinks that the knowledge that magic, or maybe specifically human magic, exist is somewhat accepted into the norm there. But again, this is your story, and Im very eager to see whatever you have in store! Keep riding!

Also, if those ponies that Daring Do worked with had been featured in the book before, shouldnt the tage be written as "Other" rather than "OC" ?

The Dazzlings EqGworld counterpart were killed hundreds of years ago? But their pendants remains so that PonyDazzlings can use it? Why havent I thought about this? This is brilliant!!
A bit of a question, but will you keep them evil?

I recognize Rainbow, Sunset, Daring, and Adagio, but who's the guy with the gun?

7162564 Don't you hate it when your comments don't get a response?

Is this story not continuing? Shame, it had a pretty good concept.

President Bill Moose, lol.

It was nice, the build up was interesting, but the climax felt like it passed too quickly. Not only that, I don't think Daring wouldn't let something like this, some legit magic, just go away without questions. Even if the stories aren't published, I have a hard time seeing the woman and her group just walking away from this.

The build up of the story was great, the conclusion however was executed quite poorly and rushed to the point that it feels as if the author had some idea of where to go at the start, but either lost interest or suffered some kind of writer's block and was forced to just cram everything in to a final chapter to mark it as complete and move on to something else or something.

A story like this could have gone for at least a dozen chapters or more because the conflict is there, the Rainbooms trying to keep magic from being detected, Daring and co. trying to learn the secrets. The Dazzlings also could have been used to better effect, I mean why did they exist in this world as Sirens in the distant past? The EQG world has been established that all Equestrians of any magical ability are turned into ordinary humans with no powers, to take the Dazzlings and have their counterparts exist as Sirens as well, that just seems like a really lazy 'I can't think of anything better idea' so I'm going to just make them Sirens who were killed in the distant past by some ancient Grecian heroes. (Who by the way shouldn't exist here either, because EQG world isn't the same as Earth, it's the same as Equestria if Equestria had magicless hairless apes as the dominant lifeforms of the planet.)

Anyway... Um, I fear I've been perhaps a bit too ranty with this comment, but the point is, you had a good thing going here, unfortunately it fell flat for whatever reason. I'm sad to say it did not live up to what was being written, I hope your next undertaking will be marginally improved upon from this learning exercise.

7883081 Thanks for the read and helpful criticism. To an extant it was rushed and I wish I could have given it more time before spring semester began. I also had always thought of EQG world as another Earth though. They mention Picasso in Legend of Everfree. Hopefully I will pull at least a marginal improvement for the next one.

7882334 Thanks for the read! That is a good point though that she shouldn't walk away though. What I was going for was the same kind of "just move on" resolution that like an X-Files stand-alone or paranormal show episode would have.

7883399 I suppose there's a reason I never got into those =P

What happened with Dazzlings? There is only they ran for car and then nothing.
