Dawww, great story.
I gotta be honest. I don't see the two of them as being compatible.
Maud Pie is so sedate, and Trixie is a flamboyant show off.
Slight fix, 'breath' is a noun. 'Breathe' is a verb, Maud should be asking Trixie to breathe.

Trixie: *gives a long winded, exaggerated excuse for why she's too busy*
Maud: Make sure to get some milk on your way back.
Trixie: ... *grumbles* Fine.
