When Arceus brings his Pokémon and trainers to Equus, some end up in the Northern Mountains. This is the story of what happened next.
This is my own side story for the story, A New Word and New Way by zeusdemigod131 and is a crossover with my other story, Snow and Wind. To those familiar with this story, I'd like to inform you that, while I will be using the same culture and characters found in Snow and Wind the storyline is completely separate as it is set in an alternate universe.
And to those who've read, A New World a New Way, I will have humans who've been turned into Pokémon. However, I will not be using humans from the video games or anime because A) I am not and gamer and have never played Pokémon and B) I thought the anime sucked and I will leave it at that because I don't want to go into full rant mode.
The humans I will be using will mostly hail from the Pokémon Adventures manga.

You know, in my MLP headcanon, the windigoes have a ruler known as Nimbus, the Weather Spirit, who's also known as the King of the Windigoes. If you'd like, I could provide you a visual of what he looks like.

Not bad so far, although if I may make a recommendation, if you're gonna add a legendary, use Articuno(if not all three), (s)he doesn't have a primary story yet.
I only know a few things about Pokemon Adventures, and one of those things is Ruby and Sapphire's backstory. Still, I had an easy enough time understanding who these characters were. Plusle and Minun are adorable!
I think you should have established the windigoes more. They're not fleshed out in the show, and they're nothing like mythical wendigoes. I was picturing ethereal horses at first, until Flower Dance's narration said she was made of flesh.
It's spelled "Sneasel", and it's claws are normally silver, not red. Did you mean the other way around?
The vibes I'm getting remind me of G1, and the Ice Kingdom from Wings of Fire.
