6654314 Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed it. And yes, time-wise this event is happening several hundred years before canon MLP.

I probably won't be changing any part of this, (honestly I'm just happy to finally get this out) but I am aware of the passive voice and a few other problems in the first half. I'll be trying to keep that out of my next stories.
