I wasn't so lucky. As it turns out, making a good seal has its drawbacks. Not as in not being able to open the bag yourself. More as in "the megalomaniac can't open it, so he revives you to do it" sort of way. The reason I'm being so specific is because exactly that happened. Too bad he didn't kill me again after I refused. Instead he petrified me for who knows how long.
Now I'm stuck here. Waiting for someone or something to free me, or destroy me. Either one of those I accept gladly.

I am so friggin' happy that this is not an HiE. For some reason every time I see a story with a summary like this (I was a blah blah blah when bad thing happened and frozen/in stasis/petrified/sent to the future/sent to the past/shot through a wormhole), it always turns out that the main character is human, and approximately 95% of all HiE's are crap. This seems interesting, especially since we see Discord and Tirek working together only a century or so after Discord began his reign of terror, so Discord hasn't been petrified and Tirek hasn't been sent to Tartarus yet. Be interesting to see if their partnership ends up the same way it did in canon. :-)
Normally I'm also not a big fan of alicorn OCs, but there is clearly a point to this guy -- he wasn't thrown in as a superpowerful Gary Stu. So I'm intrigued to see more.
