Nice story... But I think you ought to label it as 'alternate universe'... Since, despite her regal appearance, DT is no unicorn.

Aside from that, really liked the story. I'm pretty sure the mentions of her unicorn-ness could be edited out. Or you could mark it AU or something.

The end was written very effectfully. It came all of a sudden that she did that, but this made the impact of the moment very strong.
This story has a very natural feel to it, I can imagine very good that something similar really happened.
