For one, I could actually read it, it had no major typos, and is well structured. As a bonus it also gets across how horrible the situation is for the protagonist. Also, compared to other fics that get published, this is quite low on the scale of offence.

No kink-shaming. It makes hypocrites of us all. Not one person with "View Mature" on is 100% vanilla (we are all clearly in these stories to see sapient feral creatures romance each other sweetly in a well-formed story or just get straight down to business). No one likes having their fetishes attacked (unless that itself is your fetish, I don't judge) so there's clearly no reason to do it to others.
It's fine to not like it, or be grossed out by it, or disagree with it. But there's never a good reason to actually give voice to it, especially in a place where it's going on - this story, for instance.
I don't settle into Spike-centric stories' comments and go on about how much I hate him. Or Luna-centric stories and talk about how much better Celestia is (anymore). Because doing that is clearly just going to rile people up, and is the only reason for doing so. Which is, at its heart, trolling - saying something for no reason other than you know it's going to screw with people or upset them.
Let us all be reasonable and sensible people. If the kink is not yours, flee and save your precious eyes. I do.
