A quick and easy way to use United We Stand is to use Scapegoat since Token Monsters are still considered monsters and it would increase a monster's attack by 3200 points.
I honestly didn't know what I was expecting Pinkie's deck to be.

Interesting so far. Though, the cards revealed so far still beg the question: will there be Synchro, Xyz, and/or Pendulum monsters in the story? I mean, it would make sense. After all, Twilight's deck seems to revolve around Spell Counters and there's no less than 3 Spell Counter-based Synchro monsters. RD will probably use some aerial based deck which immediately brings to mind Blackwings, Harpies, Raid Raptors, or Mecha Phantom Beasts, all of which feature Extra Deck monsters. And Fluttershy/Applejack could use Sylvans/Naturias.
Anyway, whatever, the story's good and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
I hope that if Trixie appears that she has a Dark Magician deck. That would be pretty cool.
Seems good, but I'm not that big on Yu-Gi-Oh. Personally, I would prefer it if you worked on more chapters of Celestia's Rocket Adventures or Empire and Rebellion. Both of those are amazing fics already.

I get that this is based of GX but small things like drawing for the first turn which is no longer allowed bug me, I'm pretty sure I know the answer but are you going to be following more modern rules in later chapters or just stick with the GX anime rules?

Just like how another author gave Rainbow Dash a Crystal Beast deck, (Complete with Rainbow Dragon) and I can't imagine anything else for her either, now.
That Author has used Celestia, Luna, Twi, Spike, Rarity, and Rainbow so far. It'll be interesting to see how much this author's vision aligns with the others- So far, Twilight's deck is similar, but Celestia's isn't.
Pinkie hasn't dueled in that story, but I can't see anything but toons now.
I'm especially curious about Applejack... I'm having trouble envisioning her as a duelist.

I don't think this is what I'm thinking of. But if this was a crossover with the Pharaoh from the original manga (issues 1-7) it would be amazing.
Let's do it like in the anime and just pull rules outta our plots.

I am under the distinct impression that each of the Humane 6 will have some of the most difficult decks in the Yu-Gi-Oh-verse. I am not complaining just letting my thoughts be known.
And then Applejack made Twilight duel every one of her relatives, and they were too distracted to stop Nightmare Moon, the end.

6618999 I dunno... I was joking before, but now that i think about it, I'd love to see an "honest" deck that specializes in exposing hidden cards. There's Convulsion of Nature that makes the top card of each player's deck visible, Light of Intervention, which prevents monsters from being face down, Ceremonial Bell, which forces both players to keep their hands visible; there's probably others, but I've been out of the game for a long time that I don't know of any. You combo those with cards that involve guessing your opponent's hand, graveyard, and fusion deck for a major advantage.
I'll admit, I had Applejack pegged for a plant type duelest, so this was a surprise. Let's see if I can guess what the others will be using for decks.
Rainbow Dash - Synchros, and monsters like speed warrior, rapid warrior, nitro synchron, turbo synchron, jet synchron, and so on.
Rarity - Gem Knights or Noble Knights.
Fluttershy - Crystal beasts.
Luna - Somehow I see her using Prophecy monsters.
Gilda - Harpies.
Trixie - Rituals or Performapals.
Spike - Red Eyes.
Zecora - XYZ monsters, rare and unusual.
Applebloom - Naturia.
Sweetie Belle - Melodious monsters, or Djinn XYZ.
Scootaloo - Machines.

Is Celestia supposed to be like Max Pegasus? She does have her mane covering one eye quite a bit. Perhaps its hiding the Eye of Millennium Eye or something similar?
I wonder what, if any, sort of decks other characters will use? Something that fits their character in some way?
