All have a chosen path to walk in their lives. These paths may be walked alone, yet some are shared in the company of others. Three little ponies shared their experiences together and forged a powerful bond. It is through this gift that they are now granted something special, yet these three will be tested. In the snowy mountains, a forgotten foe has slumbered. Now he is awakened by one who desires retribution on Equestria and its rulers. With a new found source of power, this foe will ravage Equestria and bring it to its knees.
A/N: This story was written for the National Novel Writing Month, however, Resurgence also represents the conclusion of an idea that started with the first EQD writing prompt. With this story comes the end of my Equestria's Tales stories I had been working on. Things grew quite intense with the necessity to deal with real life circumstances. Anyways, I hope the story is enjoyable, and it isn't too horrible to read. As always, feedback is appreciated so I can learn how to better myself as a writer.
A bit confusing sty times, especially when Sombra wad deposing Chrysalis, some clunky sentences here ams there, but pretty good. I just hope it gets better for Chryssie later.

Not bad, like it so far, but at times it feels as if parts of the descriptions were missing. Like it's never said weekday Shining did to stop Sombra's attack aimed at Celestia. Our how Sombra appeared.

Hmm, is it explained anywhere who is Aegis and what happened to the CMC?
This chapter was easier to follow than the last one, though there still were confusing bits, like skipping Aegis stopping the guard and saving the CMC after Sombra chucked them at the wall.

Hmm, not bad, though again it seems as if you skipped parts of the descriptions. Characters reacting to stuff that hasn't been explained, like when Chrysalis and Shining ate suddenly shield fighting or Sombra suddenly appears or Nightmare Star's attacks.

Ageis comes from the prior chapters leading up to Resurgence. It's in the Equestria's Tales story arc, in the Duty chapter. There's a particular reason why Ageis is fond of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, but I won't spoil the chapter.

Only one thing that was really noticeable, no description of Twilight noticing Chryssie or pointing at her or doing anything, just suddenly being pushed onto the bed by Dash and yelling that she caused it all.
