Knackerman

I am the Knackerman. Most of my writing deals with horror, suspense, and tragedy. And yes, there will be gore.

After the events of Broken: Kindness, Rainbow Dash finds her friend Fluttershy whisked away by Princess Celestia and herself taken into custody by the Day Guard. It is not long, however, before the royal guards escort Dash to one of the most dangerous weather factory's in Cloudsdale. What secrets does the facility hold and why has Princess Celestia insisted that a filly, barely out of flight camp, be brought there?

:moustache: This was a fine read, a bit sinister with a dab of Conspericy to it; quite enjoyable with a good drink at hand.

Keep up the fine work.

theres a twist

Dash had no response to that what so ever. There was a finality in the Princesses words that let her know she meant every one of them.

Princesses shouldn't be plural.

Was there other Pegasus Devices at other weather factories? She didn’t want to know what the one at the Ice Factory could do.

Were.

It all made sense now. Everything...all of it...was a lie.

A space after each period or set of periods, a capital letter too. Twice. Again.

The continuity issue is mind breaking, since Twilight only made Celestia brainwash her friends and Twilight herself after Twilight broke because Celestia brainwashed her, or at least I think that's what I read in Broken: Magic.

3232201
This story takes place before broken magic (though you could argue it also occurs after depending on how you interpret the ending of the series, but chronologically, this occurs before every other story except Broken: Kindness.) Either way Celestia's motivations are her own.

Could you provide a chronological listing of all the stories? I could always look at publish dates, but my brain doesn't want to do that right now.

3245707

In order of publication and Twilight's chronological order (intended reading order).
1.) Truth
2.) Laughter
3.) Charity
4.) Kindness
5.) Loyalty
6.) Magic
And Repeat if ya like.

Have you no shame, Celestia?

This incarnation of Celestia is quite similar to another in The Wonderverse by Calm Wind. The revelations come in the third story of a trilogy in this extended universe, Piercing the Heavens.
Both incarnations of Celestia manipulated the lives of ponies, hoping to achieve some greater good, and they kept this secret from those who looked up to and trusted her. A boldfaced lie and a smokescreen were the tools employed by The Wonderverse Celestia. This incarnation, Broken Celestia, came out with the truth but intends to supress those memories.

Between the two, I can forgive The Wonderverse Celestia more than this incarnation. Sure, it took having the truth and several confrontations smacking her in the face, but once she realized her mistakes, Celestia admited to her faults and took an active role in fixing what she set in motion.
This incarnation, on the other hand, we'll never truly get a resolution...

"Lies are locks, they keep us out… Lies are locks, they trap us in… Lies are locks indeed. Truth… truth is the key! The key to open the door of truth! What will we find there?"
Jeff the Killer: Scars of Corruption

She could scream, she will laugh. Soon, Celestia will meet her wrath.
The cage has corroded, the key shines bright. Come out, Celestia, and face Twilight!
