A strange new device has been developed and released in Equestria called the Nerve Gear, developed by Luna herself and a specially selected team of ponies, along with a new game to go with it- Re-Equestria Online. The game is rumored to let you experience a second life in a second Equestria, an Equestria with endless possibilities. Always wanted to be a pegasus? Maybe an acrobat? It's all possible now.
Spike comes back to the Castle of Friendship with this very game - Only to find out the helmet is not fit for a dragon's head. Seeing that he won't get the chance to play the game, he asks Twilight to try it out and possibly tell him what it's about.
It just so happens that someone isn't so keen on letting the players out of the game.
*This takes place around season five of MLP:FiM,

Hey, I got an idea! Why not like at the half of the story Spike finished making his helmet and hacks pony art online so that he has a dragon body!
Anyway, hope this story gets popular and has a lot of followers!
Tip: Always tell your fans when the next chapter comes. That way it will make your story noticed enough. I failed this and when I posted a new chapter, nobody noticed it.

Twilight didn't actually fight NMM, she was just seeing the battle from her own POV. She had no control over anything, and was just simply experiencing the battle all over again.

well, not bad, but also not great. u have a lot of character talking in the same paragraph, i noticed, and u tend to do that a lot...when a new character starts talking, thats a new paragraph.

I'm glad you find it interesting. I understand how it may be flat, but I didn't have much inspiration for action at the time, and I wanted the story to be fluid. I want to have a balance between what the characters would do and what I want them to do. I ended up with tihs chapter, which is kind of a characters' "reaction" to the Nightmare Moon event thing. I'm sorry if it didn't seem very exciting
