It's not like other ponies have been used in the exact same way. Cupcakes used Rainbow Dash because it felt the most fitting for her to be the victim of the off-kilter pony that is Pinkamena. Besides, the story was made during Halloween and is set near Nightmare Night! It's only fitting we get this insanity story on such a day! I guess Dash has the most popular vote on these horror stories for use as the victim. Besides, ever heard of Rocket to Insanity?
