One Direction appears in Ponyville on Nightmare Night and they decide to put on a show. It turns out that they have hypnotic powers in the world of pastel ponies. So, everypony gets hypnotized, even the Mane 6, and everypony becomes fangirls (or boys...) of them.
Only one pony can stop them, since she wants nothing to do with their new-fangled music and bad taste in hairstyles.
