Basically a novelization of the last 10 minutes or so of the film. I'm afraid that it doesn't really bring anything new to the table except give exposition around the events. I was hoping for some more. Maybe Twilight thinking after the fact about the monster, asking if it really was something that had always been within her and what that might mean? Maybe some insight into how a pretty introverted girl would react in the days and weeks to come to what happened to her?
Overall... this really doesn't add anything.
