Princess Celestia has had enough. Reports, essays, and being locked up in a library for most of her time?

As much as she loves Twilight's friendship reports, she thinks Twilight needs to make more out of life. So she sends out an order of a holiday which EVERYPONY must oblige. And that includes her favorite student.

Twilight is devastated, but her friends convince her that meeting new ponies will be fun over the holidays.

"Can't be that bad, fresh air tastes like what now?" ~Twilight

After all, Celestia is giving her a new assignment - search for 10 sub-elements of her elements. Basically, analyze themes in life. And to make that happen, they need to explore more than Ponyville. Not to mention that Twilight can't really teleport 5 ponies and herself at once - the stress is too large.

Luckily and surprisingly, Rainbow finds the solution. As they pile into a rented, magic-run chillin' bright red SUV crossover with sports car, each pony gets to plan their destinations and their fates.

What they don't know quite yet is that one road trip can make a big difference in an egghead.

Starting with C.S. Lewis, the badass of historical quotes (also I believe is a woman, not sure, one side keeps telling me she's a woman, yet a quote of hers says "when I became a man" was she just pretending to avoid judgement of her books?)
Ill give updates to this comment as I read.
Celestia has a rainbow mane?!
It constantly seems as if Celestia is talking about herself when she is describing Twilight, I'm sure the grammar nazis can find out why.

Honestly Its a good idea that should of had a few more chapters written first before release, If you had maybe made 3 or 4 chapters, that would of been a world of improvement. Don't just release because you have a finished chapter, as what is essentially a prologue isn't going to attract attention.

Ill fav this so I can track it.

Celestia's gonna make Twilight go on a road trip... to meet guys. Is that what's happening here?

816342 ...I think... I actually kinda hope too :trollestia:

Dis gonna be gud. Tracking.

"For Twilight, summer consisted of reading. Reading and reading only."

Yep. My summers in a nutshell. :ajbemused:

OK you have my attention.....go on:rainbowderp::rainbowderp:

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDD TRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

Alright! GRAMMAR NAZI NO-JITSU!!! Numbah one, no indents in each paragraph. Numbah dos, WAY too many paragraph breaks. Other than that, nicely done and I will be following the story. Also whoever said that C.S. Lewis, might I add a christian author, was a woman has another thing coming!! :twilightangry2:

I am having road trip in a few days! Away from watching kids and reading all these great fimfiction! Hopefully everything comes out better for me and am lokking forward to any new chapters:twilightsmile:

817565 I know "when I became a man" ment when he grew up, I'm not hopelessly stuipid you know, also I was told by some person when I was young it was a woman, probably bullshit.

And the quote you would know 1. because its well known and 2. Its often used by bronies defending MLP. The quote is "When I became a man, I threw away childish things" which means he stopped acting like a child, but stopped being repulsed by things just because they were childish, as children always go through (I did too of course) a LONG phase where they want more adult (not men't to be sexual) things and childish things make them gag, or they ignore them due of the fear of not being accepted.

Its obvious why that quote is used by bronies defending MLP for obvious reasons.

818473 The one thing I hate about this site, from my experience with my fic, I have found that grammar nazis are REALLY REALLY useful on this site, and insulting them isn't a good thing to do, so now if I get insulted on grammar, I can't reply with an insult. :flutterrage:

A few spelling mistakes, nothing too bad though (most unhelpful comment ever). In the future please write in the past tense. I can't speak for everyone but present gets a tad annoying and I don't think it flows as well. Also, is "Spakeshear" intentional?

Yes. Yes it is, because "shear" refers to shaving a sheep or shearing a mane.

Sorry I haven't been updating, I just traveled to the United States (I live in Canada), and we JUST got the internet up and running. I keep all my writings online, so I can't just access them from Word :facehoof:

Thanks for being understanding, y'all.

Actually, Celestia just thought it would be good for Twilight if she went out and got some male scent on her. She's actually a lot more worried about her student's well-being and she thought Twilight would be interested in her new assignment. You see, she's just being a little subtle.

S'alright, I get weird and pervy looks whenever I go on Skyrim and Minecraft. XD

So males are actually being nice to me on this site.
