This story is a sequel to Equestria Wars: The Magic Unleashed III

Daring Do leads an expedition with Charming Thunder, Danny, Applejack, Spike, Rarity, and Moondancer to explore Hamunaptrot, the ancient city of the dead in Haygypt. When the curious Moondancer read a page from the Book of the Dead after it was dug up, the mummy is awoken and sets upon destroying those who violated his tomb, intent on regaining his treasures and power, wreaking havoc wherever he goes.

Nobody loves ocs
I am quite the hypocrite, but really?

...Why is there Star Wars stuff in this The Mummy retelling? Why are ponies just suddenly taking the Force as a natural given for the setting? :rainbowhuh:

Don't get me wrong, multi-crossovers can work, but having this story start with some super sith reptile dudes was not the right foot. Let alone when there's nothing about that in the description.

Honestly, not going to touch this with a ten foot pole.

Out of curiosity I wanted to give this a shot and quickly regretted doing so. You make no use of descriptors at all, the most important thing in story telling is show don't tell. We are constantly told this is where we are and this is who we see even in the first chapter. You have other stories yes but you have to assume that the first chapter of any story is someone's first time reading your stories. This goes for the inclusion of Star Wars stuff and the mlp universe and the mummy movies. When you say it's there "just because" then that is bad story telling, you have to give the reader a way to emerse themselves in your world.

I want to make it clear that this was mrant as a critque and not me just tearing you down. With a lot of work and polish this might be a fun story.

Also, this was very poor form when answering someone's legit question about your world.
