A good place to start. Yeah, I always thought Twilight belonged under Celestia's wing. In all dimensions, Celestia seems to be quite fond of Twilight.

In any world, the relationship between Twilight Sparkle and Celestia Dawntreader is always that between surrogate daughter and mother.

BTW - I agree with you that Crystal Prep was a totally poisonous environment. If I'd had a principal like Cinch, I'd be permanently afraid of the school faculty too!
