A canon resistance-based fic? I'm surprised, but also delighted ;)

Editing this comment because I feel my previous one was not grand eloquent enough.
I find your story idea, following the life of a mare in the resistance to be very interesting, the numerous story possabilities that come from such a set up are nearly limitless.
Your main character is likeable, and the world building is great. I enjoyed reading about the spead of the crystal heart corruption and what it looked like to ponies outside of canterlot.
Both you and this story have fantastic potential and I can't wait for the next chapter ^^

Hmmm. The Crystal Heart hit this town pretty hard, didn't it? I mean, compared to Canterlot's mares, a rather large portion of females were affected. The males on the other hand aren't gone so far yet. It's like the effect balanced out the further it went from its epicenter.

The next chapter will be out when it's out, no ETA at this time, but hopefully mid December. I'm working on the plot ahead of time and refining it to hopefully give quicker releases in the future. That and finals are approaching, so time will be devoted to that.
So, basically this chapter summed up in a nutshell:

And I see the whole burning down buildings thing didn't fade after canterlot after all.

Not to mention the chapter (and story in general) suffers from what's called "Wall of Text" disorder: where paragraphs are giant and clumped together making it unpleasant to read.
Call it a personal belief/preference, but In my experience a paragraph should never have more than 5 sentences at max or two very large ones (2-3 is ideal), and on top of that should always be double-spaced.

That's probably one thing they were doing to Luna in that image three years ago. Along with some form of punishment and conditioning. :3
7116409 Breaking Luna is the real goal, everything else follows. But gaining control of dreams means they can use that to calm the mares and break them down easier. Of even there dreams say submit more will.
Plus as long as one Princess doesn't submit than Dainn's victory Is incomplete. I have a theory though. Cadance was broken through early Caribou influence and not the Crystal Heart. Possibly rune magic or such. Twilight was sheltered and breaking her was easier. She just wanted the pain and degradation to stop. Celestia is much the same, to long being coddled and the easy life made breaking her easier than it should be.
Luna on the other hand was used to pain aND hardship. She was the warrior if the two sisters and breaking isn't in her nature. I wouldn't be suprised if Dainn is long dead before she finally breaks. Or goes full Nightmare Moon.
Luna wont break. Even now when celestia is a red collar, luna is still black. and why not? she spent so long on that desolate moon, the torture of 1000 years of isolation. what hope do the caribou have? If they want their mares they will have to get them the hard way.
