Not bad!
Like the others said, this could use some detail. You give us a good idea of the events of the story, but not their significance. What would it feel like to be there, both physically and emotionally? Why does Scootaloo care about this particular day? Does RD care? Why, or why not?
Building the answers to these questions into your story could help it get even better.
