This was cute but the "I'm pregnant" thing came out of nowhere.

Also if Cadence is pregnant why has nopony noticed, does a woman not show sings of pregnancy for the first dew days?

The first indication of human pregnancy is interruption of the menstrual cycle, aka, the infamous "late period". Ponies experience estrous cycles rather than a menstrual cycle. One of the differences is creatures with an E. Cycle tend to reabsorb the endometrium (the lining that forms to allow an "egg" to implant in the uterine wall and grow), while creatures with an M. Cycle tend to shed the lining if they do not get pregnant. That's why periods exist... It's the lining of the uterus being shed. Ponies don't typically experience this, due to biological differences. Twilight read it in a book, so it's true!

Save for urine or blood testing, a pony may get 5-6 months into the pregnancy before the belly shows enough distension to be obvious. Considering the gestation of a pony is typically 11 months... that's easily half the pregnancy! The mare might know her body is changing, but real mares don't talk. For our favorite talking ponies, a pregnant mare might feel different enough after a few months to decide to see a pony doctor.

And then you get to throw a "You're gonna be a new mommy" party!

709194 Oh I see, and you know considering Shinning Armor and Cadence are based off the royal couple from 2011 I think it makes sense becasue I think I saw something that said the royal couple was expecting their first child, of course I could be wrong.
