Woo! New Lucky Dreams story!
Nice art, btw!

You really like stories about dreams don't you?

I mean, I guess that makes sense given your username.

Woo! New Lucky Dreams story!

Only a little one I'm afraid... it's been a while since I've written a story like this, and I needed to get it out of my system. Hopefully it turned out alright.

Nice art, btw!

Thank you so much! I've really struggled getting to grips with digital art, so it's always lovely to get comments like this.

There can never be too many :raritystarry:

Another wonderful story, Lucky. I love travels through dreamworlds and the odd sense that they can make.

Also, is it intentional that this is unpublished? At least it looks that way to me.

6563405 First of all, thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it :yay:

Secondly, I thought I'd try my luck with EQD first before publishing. Fingers crossed!

"Could the sun ever freeze over?"
"Oh, it will...in about 500 billion years..." :pinkiehappy:

I'm surprised Luna didn't interfere...

Colorful. Innocent. Like the dreams of a child. Like a song sung by a joyful young one.
Kind of reminds me of roald dahl, in a way. Good writing. Keep doing it, increase in skill, never lose your voice.

Are you participating in NaNoWriMo? You should.

6574230 Nah, it's less that it'll freeze over and more that it'll expand to several thousand times its current size and CONSUME ALL EQUESTRIA IN A HORRIBLE MAELSTROM OF FIRE AND HEAT AND DEATH AND--

And good grief, nopony tell Apple Bloom. She'll never fall asleep again :applecry:

(Thanks for commenting on my story!)

6574777 Thank you so much, this was such a lovely comment :raritystarry:

I'm not doing NaNoWriMo this year, unfortunately. I'm concentrating on my application for the Writing for Young People course at Bath Spa University, so fingers crossed that I can get something good together -- I have to send them 20 pages worth of writing...

How the hell does this not have any comments? This is wonderful!

Ahh, here are the comments, at the end of the fic. Still, its criminal how underreceived this story is.

6678803 Thank you so much for the lovely comments! I'll admit, it would have been nice to have had more responses to this, but even so, people have said such nice things about it both online and in real life that I can hardly complain. I'm very happy with how it's been received

So few people write in the style of children's literature that its a gem in its own right simply for that, before even considering that you do it well. I really don't understand why people dont read this stuff simply for that reason.

Beautiful!

Exactly! It even has a storm talking about eating children, which is not something you read everyday. :trollestia:

OHMYGOSHSPACE! :raritystarry::heart:

This is adorable.

This a sweet story with wonderfully creative descriptions. It's a shame it hasn't gotten more attention.

I'm just going to point at Maran's comment, because it's how I feel about the fic as well. Faved.

This is precious. Low-level winter peril has always been a very cozy topic for me, and the childish nightmare seeming to blur with reality helped keep the stakes appropriate raised - while we all know Applebloom's not in danger, she doesn't, and for the narration to fit her perspective was wonderfully appropriate. And of course, starting and ending with wholesome sister hugs is always :rainbowkiss:.
