Well then… honestly I never thought it was possible for me to be bored out of my own skull while reading a fanfic but apparently I was wrong. As much as I would LOVE to say otherwise but AiP wasn’t exactly clicking for me, and I could barely make it through three letter before I started sharpening the razor blades. Adventures in Puppetland was something I actually cringed at when I saw it hit the submission thread, “Oh good god another unfeasibly unrewarding read, yeah!
Now lets fuck with orphans for a laugh.” Sorry.As far as I can tell after the infinite unfortunate and awkward events of the Grand Galloping Gala. The one and only

The Lost Siren has a lot of things I hate when it comes to reading stories or fanfics, and that is the sad genre tag. It’s a lot like the harem genre, it’s a lazy and unkempt excuse for a romance story. I’ve danced around reviewing The Lost Siren for sometime now. I’m bored so fuck it, let’s get this over with.
The Lost Siren is probably the most generic sob story I’ve ever read. Sonata Dusk is now alone and homeless, wandering the streets of [insert town name] after a bitter and humiliating defeat after the battle of the bands. Adagio and Aria are out of the picture because of internal disputes blah blah yadda yadda… look instead of shoving it in our face that we need to feel sad for Sonata and have some empathy for her. Make it happen, use your words to instill the feelings in our heads, make us really feel the feels ya know? That would work more that trying to cram sadness down our throats like women and a pint of ice cream.
But I still liked it more than Lyra’s so 5 out of 10.

There are some things I kinda miss in your story.
I would have liked to see more descriptions of the Sock Puppet universe.
Sock puppets don't do much without a hand inside them, did they
have hands inside them?
A bit more description would have drawn in the readers.
You could do it from the viewpoints of the characters.

I really like this story how you write it as letters back and forth between characters. It's rare or maybe very rare to see this kind of writing on the site, but overall this was really fun and enjoyable to read!

Oh man! I honestly can't tell who I ship Discord with more in this story.
On one hand, Celestia matches his mischievous and flirty side. On the other, Fluttershy actually takes the time to take care of him.
