I hope you continue this story. Always liked the chessverse, and was sad to see it almost die.

Indeed that would be a interessting twist in your story, like every time the character is about to reveal his name, something interupts him from doing so.
Really enjoyed this. The way Bastet asked for and received permission was brilliant, and I like the character.
I have one serious problem with this story, though, and it's something you really need to correct if I'm going to keep reading.

Meh. I don't care about Felix, and the beginning of this chapter doesn't give me a reason to care. This is fine for the other story, but since it's your chapter, it needs to be written largely from your character's point of view so we can learn why HE cares about what's going on.
The beginning of this chapter makes me not want to keep reading to get to your part of the chapter, and considering how much I wanted to keep reading from the previous chapter, that makes me sad.

6682695 I have changed the lay out so it begins with Godric. I had meant to do that before hand, but I am tired and forgot to do so. mayhaps I should create an aside chapter that simply shows Godrics part in this, and the relevant side bits.

Also, this chapter waffles back and forth between past and present tense a lot. In some places, every other sentence or so.

And this chapter, belive it or not, has set up a couple key points for further down the way, most in fact not dealing with Felix. Though, this is the point that shows that there are multiple displaced. More than likely this will be the only collaborative chapter in this story. In a day or so I shall post a secoundary, smaller chapter under *Felix the Cat: Godric rules* Which will cut out all exclusively Felix characters.
