There’s always a small chance of a sequel being written :).
Endings are the types of things readers either love or hate. I know many are more than likely going to dislike the ending here, but it was the type of ending I had to give the story, if that makes any sense.

Its not so much how it ended as it is the fact that it ended so suddenly. It just seemed like there was more to tell. But that's just me.

You could say that there was much more to tell; but that would be on your imaginative side.
Right now that it's completed gotta say this about it. As you can expect from me I disliked the ending, after all I live and breath by Octascratch pairing.
But that doesn't matter because here is the problem with this story: There is too much cramped into the space of four chapters and I felt that the Swirly part was too big. Vinyl goes through too much in a weekend keep me connected to the story. By the time I reached the ending I was so disconnected from it that I was like "Octavia turns Vinyl down on top of all that?" Just Meh", whatever feelings it was supposed to convey were long lost.
A shame because the first chapter is really good. You (probably) know that I follow your work closely and I really think this isn't one of your best works. It's decent, worthy of a like, but I've seen better from you.
I want to go on record saying I advised against this ending!
Aww nuts. I didn't think this story came to an end. Poor Vinyl. I hope there'll be more to it where Vinyl and Octavia end up together in the end.

I'm sorry you felt this way about the last chapter. Didn't mean to disappoint you. It's just that, as the creator, I felt like I had to give it this ending. It's more realistic, but, at the same time, it's very depressing. I know many people like happy endings, but this wasn't one.

Ah if you felt that it needed this ending, then you gotta stand by it and it's all good, I can certainly appreciate that. It is your story in the end, not ours. After all mindlessly catering to the whims of the readers is no good either right? Besides you can't be always successful, sometimes you just won't be able to please everyone.

Ok reading the first chapter and all is good, your passing is a bit out of wack and the thing you got going on between Octavea and Vynal Scratch feels a bit forced, and sped up.
But for the first chapter, and a short one at that, it is good.

6576463 See for me it's not even that it feels more realistic, I mean, yeah in a way it does. But for fucks sake, she got Octy away from Wheelie. I would say that at least earns a "date" to test the waters. Obviously not a - "Yeah, we can totes be a relationship" thing.
Besides, Octy KNEW about Swirly and all that shiz that VInyl had going on. Saying "Nope, you fucked it up. Too bad" (exaggerating, I know) just felt almost forcefully cruel.
Those are just my thoughts, you do what you do.
