Equestria now sits under eternal night. Nightmare Moon- The maddened sibling of the monarch princess Celestia remains at large- And all because the spirit of harmony which rests in the tree of the same name forgot one important thing-
Just because somepony is crazy does not mean that same pony is stupid.
Now with Equestria having to rely on other methods to light and heat their land, the six would-be bearers are trying to play things by ear in an attempt to find the Elements of Harmony- And things are especially difficult when the villain who stole them doesn't even know where she put them.

Eh, it happens. Sometimes I don't really read stuff either. I'm currently struggling through First Pony View as it stands. Good story, many, MANY big words. And that's saying something for me!
I do encourage you to give it a bit more of a deeper look later though, if you're willing.
And, of course, Harmony simply COULDN'T just tell them straight off where the Elements were, but had to speak in riddles.
Seriously, why doesn't any mythical being just say the name of the place, give the Cartesian coordinates, or polar coordinates ("20 km bearing 20° North"), at most???

But seriously. He totally would have told them if he had the name of the place, Cartesian coordinates, polar coordinates, a treasure map, or literally anything better than the vague vision he had.
Also, he's a fan for the theatrical, otherwise he'd say something like "Look for a big tree that's not this one. It's full of ungrateful shlubs always trading favors when they don't need to. Go fix it. Also, the Element of Generosity is there."
This story is so good and funny and just well thought out.
