Anyway, such things aside, I am curious as to what made you believe that it was a crossover?
6479157 Uh, there are characters and backstory that are unfamiliar, yet it is not noted anywhere that this is a sequel to anything. Who is Sergei? What, or who is Oboron? These things aren't explained, which usually indicates that the writer is assuming that the reader knows already what they are talking about. The only possible reason I could see for this is that it was a crossover, and there is a whole canon we are assumed to have already known about.
A tip; if this isn't a crossover, explain a bit more in your description. Instead of assuming we know who Sergei is already, tell us. Why is he the one who has to stop a mad god? What's his [basic] story?[in a nutshell]
And no. I haven't read it. Your description put me off, because it just screamed "Crossover with something you don't know!", and those are no fun to read, because you have no idea what's going on or how stuff works.

I see what you're saying,
When I wrote the description, I was thinking more along the lines of "People don't really like reading huge descriptions, and will probably skip most of it". So, I decided to leave those details to the actual story.

Ah! I see now! I wasn't quite sure what game you were thinking of. With that italicized bit, I thought you might have been reffering to Mass Effect.
