My thoughts are just as this story, all over the place, both good and bad.

There are quite a few scenes in this story that are "un-needed" so to speak, they don't contribute but yet they add something, like the fact that you're trying to get everypony together with someone.
Usually i Hate stuff like that, but it sort of works here.

As for why Ponyville has the issue of gay rights, use a little cognitive skill here that I know all you beautiful readers have. Who founded Ponyville? Who produces about 50% of the towns produce (by my fair estimate)? Who has an expressed dislike of same sex couples? Is the thought bubble forming? I hope so, cause it's still about one chapter out storyboard wise. That said, you are asking the right questions my friend

P.S. i knew that Fluttershy would have had feelings for Rarity but some part of me wished that Celestia was her secret crush, and who would have known you fulfilled my wish in some way
