Nice story! I enjoyed the character interaction. I'm always amazed at how fast fic writers are at putting these together like the day of an episode.
Some advice - it seems like you're doing a lot of "telling" through the narration. You can move this towards "showing" more through actually writing less in those spots where you feel like you have to explain things. Rather than explicitly telling us exactly as it is, try implying details through dialogue, or maybe a limited 3rd person narrative. Let the reader fill in some of the gaps themselves!

I probably need to read my own story in a lot of detail again in order to actually really understand, what you want to tell me. But I have a good guess as of what you are saying. I will try to take this to heart as soon as I start writing my next story. (Where I will take more time for writing than just 3 hours late in the evening
