This is the first fic I read based in Rarity-Scoots interaction. An damn funny on top!
Now I really want to read the "Hot-Air Balloon Operation and Safety Guidelines - Rarity Edition"
This was a whole lot of fun, Rarity and Scoots had a lot of great interaction. Still, the whole time I was thinking to myself "considering how much crap Scootaloo is putting Rarity through, Rainbow Dash better be busy donating one of her kidneys to Sweetie Bell or something."
Seeing as we're the only two in the competition right now, I decided to read your story. Cool one shot. This is why there are no Scootadopts with Rarity becoming a mom, they would kill each other. Me thinks Sweetie is rubbing off on Scootaloo a little, with that bit of manipulation to get Rarity into the balloon.

Three Gems and a Scooter is the one that I know of. It's still ongoing, but it's worth tracking if you don't mind incomplete stories.
The author happens to be one who started the contest, which is why I chose to write about this particular pairing. It's a shame that he let it fall through and nothing ever came of it.
