Absolutely hilarious. Suggestion: Make chapters longer instead of two different ones. However keep doing what your doing then as your skill increases. Make them longer with a slight increase in details. Over time it will build up.

My good sir I must disagree, the chestburster emerges with two partially formed arms with claws, it is these claws that are used to rip through the chest cavity whilst the head is used to break the ribs.
If you don't believe me, look up the wiki or search with google, "Chestburster" the arms are clearly visible.

This is a solid prologue here, very nice imagery and explanation of your protagonist's motivations, also quite readable. You appear to have a very good understanding of the source material and convey that very well, the psychology of the alien is very intriguing. I'd say that you give away enough here to hook a reader to come back for more answers, which is the entire premise of a good prologue.
The changeling tags very much interest me, are these aliens the predecessors of the changelings? Are they going to be rivals? Or are they something more to one another...?
