When Twilight Sparkle decided to go to Moondancer's party instead of the Summer Sun Celebration and try to catch a late train into Ponyville later, Celestia found herself completely unprepared for Nightmare Moon's return. Unbeknownst to her, one of Twilight's friends, Lyra Heartstrings, did go to Ponyville. There, Lyra tries to fit in, and is thrown headfirst into a world full of new friends, secret agents, prejudice, unrequited love, very requited love, conspiracy, bitterness, regret and the end of all of Equestria.

Why did I even put this off for a few weeks? I like this. Well written, only one mistake in Luna's speech one chapter making her sound less refined but still of her time. (Nobles don't say "we was")

Or did she forget that a unicorn's (and perhaps an alicorn's) magic gets disrupted if the horn is slapped or hit when casting a spell?
6479442 Horns are small things. Sort of like how in Devil May Care, James Bond tells Scarlet to always aim for the torso because it's a lot easier to hit than the head, generally gunning the body will have a far better chance of connecting. Plus, in Bon-bon's defense, she didn't know the bullets would bounce off, so she probably thought that that'd be enough to drop NMM.
And of course that's what I was thinking at the time and totally not something I came up with in a panic on an early morning. Totally. I'm a good writer

This chapter was incredible. I love how you've explored the characters. I like how you mad Zecora sympathetic here. And you have Agent Sweetie Drop , interesting route to take. And it appears this version of Luna/Nightmare isn't as willing to take lives.
PS, kudos on using actual Swahili language. Do you have any helpful advice for someone who wants use Swahili in his future MLP fanfics?
