Quite the gender-bender, I gotta say. Apart from the obvious male-oriented problems, I'm eager to see plenty of interaction between Rainbow Dash and Applejack. He'll want to be affectionate, of course, and I wonder how much Applejack will be able to stand. --and there's always the option that at the end of the day he LIKES being male and decides to stay that way.

Oh, quick question: Rainbow's known to be gay at the end of Prince/Workhorse, so does his new male self swing that way? It'd be an interesting continuity with the Braeburn magazine- moreso if AJ finds it.

I suppose that if it's written in the genetic code for him to prefer his own gender, then Rainbow and Applejack are going to have a sad moment. I have a hypothesis as to why they can't figure out the enchantment:
Twilight's spell didn't enchant Rainbow. It disenchanted him. This is what Rainbow naturally looks like.
His parents had his gender changed either because they wanted a filly or because they thought he looked too girly for a colt (even by pony standards).
This explains why even the princesses can't disenchant him, and fits with how Rainbow was a tomboy and a lesbian.

I wouldn't expect Rainbow to be the type of pony to able to sit still for more than five minutes, but she does realize if she gets used to that new body what happens when she turns back into a female. I guess recovering what she already knew will be easier than not doing anything until she turns back. Also I'm getting some vibes from Fluttershy, she was straight so didn't want her relationship with Dash to go anywhere but now she's a guy so maybe she will try something? I hope she does.

In short words, a boy who was straight will be straight as a girl too as also the brain and hormone parts have changed however she will also still love the girl she had loved as a boy.
For RD that means she´s gay as a guy but also in love with AJ. It´s more interesting that way as FS/RY are VERY interesting in male RD, but male RD slowly noticed her now gay 'male' brain to see lovely features on other stallions which she had never dreamed of before as a mare.
You see, when she was a mare FS/RY didn´t wanted anything from her but she from them or atleast FS. Now that she´s a male, both wants her badly but her male turned brain is STILL gay, so she´s not as much into mare bodies as before. Oh the irony!

Just to make this comment- in France, they don't traditionally (or at all) call their waiters garcon, since garcon means boy. And, since waiters are traditionally fully grown men there...you get my point. Monsieur, or Madame if it is a girl, is more common. While garcon may be in play since it might deal with stereotypes, it wouldn't make sense if it were a traditional cafe.

Dude, I loving the exploration of sexuality in this story. The only thing that stuck out to me was the sea legs line. Shouldn't it be "land legs" because you mention back from vacation? Wouldn't you get your sea legs on it? Just nit picking, but it stuck out to me.
