Something seems really off about the way that's written.
Hm... is it Rainbow Dash? The last line seemed very odd. Why would Rainbow assume she would know if Bulk had a special somepony. I know why she would know if Fluttershy was the special somepony, but why would she think she'd know in a more general sense?
Welp, I guess it's time to read on.
I think its quite possible that Bulk could have a marefriend. He's clearly a very nice stallion.

Reading it again... the last chapter stumps me.
The previous chapter they ended off on a pretty solid note, mainly, that Bulk had been dumped. Pretty handily. After all the work he had put into making the perfect evening, she said or decided something that ended up with her dumping him.
Next chapter, he comes in, about one two paragraphs later mysterious marefriend is there too! She claims they've been together for a while, with nary an explanation for the previous night.
No explanation for why they are still together, I guess is the point I'm trying to make.
