Spice of Life

E

Rarity is the top agent of HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE. When a villain comes along she will stop at nothing to ensure the day is not only saved, but fabulously so. However what will she do when the villain isn't just a villain, but one of her friends, who won't stop calling themselves by silly names. I mean honestly, who calls themselves the Applebucker? Why, it is enough to make one want to just give up being a secret agent. But, I suppose we all do what we must.

(Now with the actual final chapter which I somehow forgot to add before.)

(No idea who drew the cover image. I found it on an old draw friends and the source isn't good anymore.)

(Begins You Know My Name from Casino Royale.) Her name is Belle. Rarity Belle.:derpytongue2::coolphoto:

Okay, well this is getting stranger by the minute. Perhaps you should add a mystery tag?

Hmm, not a bad idea.

:moustache: Did I make a good henchdragon?

:raritywink: Quite a gentle henchdragon

:moustache: Can I have sharks with laser beams on their heads?

:duck: Get Smart Spikey Wikey

:pinkiegasp: I need to P!

:moustache: I need to S!

:raritystarry: I need to Rrrrrrrrrr!

:rainbowlaugh: RD

The Applebucker's obsession with Rarity is pretty funny, maybe she should consider changing careers and become a double agent? Might help her score more points with her crush that way.

Thinking they may have found Flutt-Oops, The Stare?

(Deadpan) You don't say...

It wasnt really her idea.

I just finished this. Overall, very cool! I like the Bond references and the idea of Rarity being a secret agent is one that fits her very well. The plot that her friends are jealous of her being elected for this duty by Celestia herself over any of them is a fun idea. I also liked Pinkie as Rarity's concubine. The two of them together is a hoot!

Other than a few spelling and tense errors occasionally, this was a fun and hilarious read. Good job!

Spelling and tense errors? Ugh, I though I got all of those. You wouldn't happen to remember where those were?

The Applebucker and The Awesome is where I noted a couple each, if I remember correctly.

Okay. That was pretty funny.
Was the beanie a reference to "Toys" with Robin Williams?

No, I just wanted something that would be relentlessly silly. That would take what is a pretty serious situation and make it just silly. Thinking back I do seem to remember something about a beanie hat in that movie. Wasn't it on the old owner and it would spin as long as he was alive? Wow, how did I remember that.

The only possible reason I can think of that I remember that is that there must have been a nostalgia critic that showed it... or it was in the ads or something. Cause I only saw the movie like once... maybe twice.

One liners. Not really, at least I don't think so.

“Menial Task,” giggled P, “because Spike does so many odd jobs.”

:trixieshiftright: What you did here. Trixie sees it... :trixieshiftright:

The suspense is...

Will the Stare put our intrepid agent...

Did the bear just...

I hope being a special agent comes with an...

I can't believe I didn't think to work Trixie into this story somehow. She would have made a great minion or something.
