The funny thing was that earlier today I was actually about to post on the Scootaloo boards if there were any good stories of JUST Scootaloo doing Scootaloo stuff without the CMC.
And just 2 minutes away from the day ending, THIS story shows up. And it's just so SCOOTALOO it's adorable. And it deals with moral dilemas? This is such a great little piece. Very sweet, and just honestly a very good Scootaloo story in general. Not sure what inspired you to write this, but I'm happy to have read it. Thanks!

Huh. This is not what I was really expecting, but I like it. Both stay very true to their characters, and their brief moment together is just that - brief. But it fits. I could see this actually happening in the world of FiM.

I don't know why exactly Earth Ponies and Pegasi would have such a tradition, but as referenced in the Hearts and Hooves Day episode, even Earth Ponies have a tradition of buying, at the very least, a diamond.

Awww, that was a sweet story.
I honestly would assume that Diamond Tiara will be a bit nicer to Scootaloo, seeing what she did for her, though not originally intended. I still think Scoots did the right thing when she gave Diamond her ring back instead of just keeping it for herself. It's just the best thing you can do, even if nothing comes from it.
I mean, who knows what would have happened if Scootaloo lied and kept the ring? Seriously, I don't wanna imagine what would have happened to Diamond Tiara...
