This story isn't doing as well as I had hoped it would. Is it because it was more an Adventure Time story with a pony thrust into it, instead of a MLP:FIM story with an Adventure Time character visiting? I'd like to hear a few reader opinions.

Thank you very much, Livinthelife. I'm sorry it took me so long to notice your comment, but this story was not as well received as I had hoped for. I stopped coming back to check after a while. I do love throwing little "Easter egg" references into my works though. I'm glad you liked this callback to Danny Kaye's wonderful film "The Court Jester". I stole it from one of my (many) unfinished works.
I heard a tiny gulp. “Mistress Yuri? May I fetch you any refreshment?” Usagi stared eagerly up at the massive feline. “I could find the kitchen and whip you up anything that isn’t on the menu if you like!”
“I’ll help!” Nikki chimed in, nearly jumping up and down in excitement. “I’m Usagi’s official assistant!”
Yuri sighed. “Alright, girls. You could get me a beer if it wouldn’t be any trouble.”
“No trouble at all!” Usagi shouted as she hopped for the bar.
“Look for the flagon with the dragon!” Yuri called after the scurrying bunny. “Leave the vessel with the pestle there. It belongs to my esteemed mate!”
Someday I'll finish this nearly novel length furry space opera!
