I do not, in fact, live on the internet. I won't give away my exact location, suffice to say that we get all four seasons where I live.

It often takes a very long time for a new invention to be refined into a form that is safe, affordable, and desirable. Especially given the primitive nature of equestrian technology, it stands to reason that it would take a long time for a car to be developed. This is the story of how Twilight found the basic spark for an idea from a random event, and how she pursued that spark to revolutionize transportation.

Interesting start though rather short chapters. You could probably merge the second and third. Looking forward to reading more.

This is like a humorous play on the invention of the Ford Model T, which is what I imagine Twily's powered cart would look similar to. More please, but please please PLEASE MAKE THE CHAPTERS LONGER AND ENGAGING!!!

Oloy ran a hoof through his mane. "If she's your relative, I'll believe anything..."

A wise decision.

So... This isn't a crossover with the movie Cars?

Nope. Although that would be cool...If I wasn't already swamped with writing, I'd totally make that! I think I'll put it on my to-do list.

Okay, so it's not exactly one-to-one, but there's a small section in the last couple chapters of my other story, A Crossover, that is based on this idea.

OMG I thought this story was dead; thanks for the update, man.

"I have some fireworks!" Pinkie chirped. Fireworks were pretty close to TNT. They were more controlled, which was necessary. Twilight wouldn't have to devise any sort of system to reinforce the cart if all the force was directed away from it.

Lol, she didn't account for impact speed:facehoof:

Explosion's or Engines is all I can think of

Fantastic guess! E is the rating of the story, so we won't get much more than comic mischief. That said, I'm an extremely mischievous writer with a love of both engines and explosions.

You're welcome! Yes, I'm trying to weave three of my stories together a bit, to help with writer's block. It really paid off here.
